Minty “Crêpes! Crepes! Craps!” (as my flatmate use to say)

What should you do if you have a bad case of tendinitis?

Crêpes of course! That will allow you to increase your pain by at least 7%!

ingredients crepe

Ingredients :

  • 250G of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 litter of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of orange blossom
  • salt

This is the easiest – fastest snack you can do.

Do a volcano with the flour and add the eggs in the middle (Eggs is Lava!), Stir stir!

Add all the other ingredients and stir big time. Make sure your tendinitis suffers as it should, and try to destroy every grumeau. I have personally cheated a bit by using my Oxo egg beater

My mother would leave the mix to rest for 2 hours. I don’t know if doing this is meant to add anything to the recipe but frustration, so just ignore this!

Get a pan and heat it to the max.

Add oil on your pan thanks to a little tissue.

You will need to add oil inbetween every single crêpes. It’s very important! Don’t mess around with this part!

oil your pan

Pour a thin layer of crêpe in your pan and twist the pan so the bottom is completely covered.

You may have to practce a bit to get the correct wrist movement, but you’ll get it don’t worry :)

Few seconds after, use a flat thin spatula to unstick the outline of your crepe, and flip it once the crepe is completely dry on top. If it is not cooked enough on one side flip it back.

normal crepe

Alright, so now we know how to make crêpes. Let’s have fun with Mint!

add the mint

The last crêpe is always a mutant..

I had the choice between a normal crêpe plus a very thin one, or the big fat mint weirdness…
